Creating a collective: a shared adventure

Born around a first exhibition and sale in 2023, Les Artisanes du Vully is taking a new shape. As they prepare for the fourth edition, the makers are organising themselves as a collective to give local creativity greater visibility.

A story of encounters

It all begins in Praz with a simple wish: to bring different crafts together in one place and meet the public. Esther Maurer, Colette Gavillet Nouis and Agnès Noyer launch the first exhibition and sale at the Cave aux Hirondelles. New personalities join with each edition: Magali Egger in 2024, followed by Nadine Tombez, Inès Schaffer and Aude Hirt in 2025, and Ladina Camenisch in 2026.

Creating together, staying independent

Today, the collective brings together eight women across seven artistic and craft worlds. Each keeps her own business, workshop, identity and independence. They share roots in Vully, an appreciation of materials and a desire to produce on a small scale. Together, they share experience, skills and contacts, and organise joint initiatives and events.

Another side of the region

Vully is known for its lake, vineyards and wines. The Artisanes also want to introduce the women who paint, sew, weave, shape clay or compose with flowers and words here. Their next shared event is the exhibition and sale on 20 and 21 November 2026: a chance to meet the makers and discover this diversity up close.
